Not that I’m a super awesome chef or anything, but I have been known to bust out a dish or two that has resulted in oohs and aahs from friends and family. Or, perhaps more realistic, satisfied sighs from full bellies and questions of “when are you making that again?”
So, as I play in the kitchen, I’ll occasionally add to my list. It’s sparse for the time being, but I bet that section fills up quickly this month as I explore full-time vegetarianism.
One recipe was actually brought to a work potluck today. I didn’t get any verbal feedback, but it was gone by the end of the day–usually a sure sign of appreciation. Inspired by a restaurant dish, I made my own version of Lebanese Salata. Read about it here, if you want!
