This is going to be a short, introductory post. It will serve more as a reminder to myself than a really in-depth look at my New Year’s resolutions. Right now I’m just mulling things over, and I feel the need to get something in stone (er… writing? er… type?) to make it “official” that I’m committing to these things.
I like to come up with resolutions that will more-or-less enhance my life, but that aren’t huge, drastic changes. Examples from last year:
1. Floss more. Which I did!
2. Eat breakfast every day. Which I DIDN’T. Oops.
3. Pay more of my loans this year than I did last year. I am fairly certain this will have been achieved, but I’ll know for sure when I get tax forms.
4. Read for pleasure. I said I hadn’t been reading as often in 2010. I didn’t want to set a specific number of books to read or anything for 2011, but I missed my quiet nights buried in a book. I definitely read more in 2011 than I did in 2012.
So, as you can see, most of my resolutions were more-or-less easy to accomplish, and generally beneficial to my life as a whole.
This year, however, it’s go big or go home.
Here’s a little taste of what I’m getting myself into come 2012…
